Bob Filer, PT, CSCS
Co-owner and Co-founder of Comprehensive Sports Care Specialists, Inc. since 1990. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Drexel University and a Master of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He also played college baseball at Drexel University. Bob brings over 20 years of experience to the clinic and holds a Direct Access License, in addition to attending numerous continuing education courses. He has had articles published in physical therapy journals. He specializes in orthopaedics and sports related injuries and rehabilitation.
John Calle, PT, CSCS
Co-owner and Co-founder of Comprehensive Sports Care Specialists, Inc. since 1990. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University, graduating with magna cum laude honors, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He brings 20 years of experience to the clinic, holds a Direct Access License and has attended numerous continuous education courses. John has published articles in P.T. Forum, Sports Medicine Update, and Bucks County Courier Times. He specializes in orthopaedic and sports related injuries and rehabilitation, with a keen interest in athletes of any age.
Ed Hunter, PT, ATC
As Director of the Warminster location, Ed brings over 20 years experience as a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and a Certificate in Athletic Training. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society. Specializing in all areas of orthopaedic rehabilitation and sports medicine, he has extensive experience in treatment of the shoulder, knee and foot/ankle complex. He is also adept in the evaluation of the long distance runner. In the past, he has worked with many college athletes and has served as an Athletic Trainer for several local high schools. Ed holds a Direct Access license and has attended numerous continuing education courses.
Joe Ware, DPT
Joe received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2005. Joe also holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology which he received from East Stroudsburg University in 2002. With his Direct Access License, Joe is skilled in diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic and athletic conditions in patients of all ages and skill levels. He also has much experience in post-operative treatment and pre-operative preparation. Joe is a member of the Newtown team.
Pamela Hibbs, MPT
Pam is a graduate of University of Sciences in Philadelphia in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Pam has played collegiate softball for 4 years and enjoys working with athletes and patients of any age. Pam joined the Bensalem team full-time in 2006.
Lisa Egan, DPT
Lisa graduated with honors from Bucknell University in Biology in 2008. She was a member of their Division I cross-country and track and field teams while at Bucknell. Lisa then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with distinction from Arcadia University in 2011. Lisa enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds and has a particular interest in running injuries. Lisa is a member of the Newtown team joining the staff in 2011.
Matt Orr, BS
Matt received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Penn State University in 1997. As a former athlete, Matt enjoys working with athletes of any age in returning to their sports. Matt has been a member of the Bensalem team since 1997.
Heather Tureikas, PTA
Heather graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at MCP Hahnemann University in 2000. She has over 12 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. In 2010, Heather was a recipient of the American Physial Therapy Association's Award for Advanced Proficiency for the Physical Therapist Assitant. She joined the Newtown office of Comprehensive Sports in 2012.
David Weiss, PTA
David is a Physical Therapy Assistant that holds two degrees: Bachelors of Science from Temple University in the field of Kinesiology in 2005, and an Associate's Degree from Harcum College in the field of Physical Therapy Assistant in 2012. David has worked in physical therapy since 2002 as a Physical Therapy Aide. David enjoys working with all orthopedic patients, regardless of injury, to get them back to their activities. David, growing up, played a wide array of sports including: baseball, basketball, and hockey. David also served as the Student Assistant Athletic Trainer at Neshaminy High School from 1998-2000 helping with all the sports teams.David has been a member of the Newtown team since 2012.
Bill Victor, PTA
Bill graduated PHI Theta Kappa from Harcum College in 1998 as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Bill has over 14 years of working experience in the inpatient, sub-acute rehab, and out-patient Orthopedic settings. Bill played high school basketball at Northeast Catholic. Bill joined our Bensalem staff in February 2012.
Matt Senese, DPT
Matt graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. Prior to graduate school, he received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from Arcadia University. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Orthopaedic Section. Currently, he is participating in an Orthopaedic Clinical Residency with Arcadia University. He intends to use this knowledge to obtain his certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. Matt has an appreciation for working with musculoskeletal diagnoses of all body regions, especially with shoulder and lower extremity injuries. He became part of the Warminster staff in 2013.
John Jemison, DPT
John received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Health Sciences from University of the Sciences in 2013. John enjoys working with athletes and patients of all ages, especially when dealing with the spine. John joined the Newtown team in 2013.
